Clay Twp.: Road project will be re-bid
The Clay Township trustees have received a one-year extension to spend a state grant for a road project. The township was awarded a grant of $250,000 from the Ohio Department of Transportation that the township had earmarked for improvements to Martin-Williston Road. World War II reenactors return to Chesterfield Township this weekend
World War II history will be brought to life this weekend in Chesterfield Township. A reenactment will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Chesterfield Township Historical Village. The theme this year is Operation Cobra, which took place July 25 to 31, 1944, the breakout of Normandy during World War II. A smaller part of Operation Overload, Cobra took place seven weeks after D-Day.
