Vehicle theft in Sherman is Crime of the Week
Springfield. IL (CAPITOL CITY NOW) – This week Crime Stoppers is seeking information to assist the Sherman Police Department in reference to a vehicle theft. On July 1st a Red 2014 Ford F550 (License Plate M197084) with a Knapheide flatbed was stolen from the Village of Sherman public works facility.
John Force recovery update: NHRA legend released from hospital a month after crash at Virginia Nationals
NHRA drag racing icon and 16-time champion John Force was released from a neurological treatment center in Arizona and moved into outpatient care on Tuesday. The move comes one month after Force suffered serious injuries in a crash during the first round the NHRA Virginia Nationals at Virginia Motorsports Park on June 23. The 75-year-old suffered a traumatic brain injury among other injuries, including a fractured sternum and right wrist injury.
