Little League: Back Mountain National defeats Abington for third straight Section 5 title
DALLAS TWP. — Abington answered one power surge by Back Mountain National on Friday evening. It had no solution to the other. Abington HS names Bruce Fleming II its new Head Coach
Abington High out of District 1 has named Bruce Fleming Jr its new football head coach. Bruce is no stranger to District 1 as he is the former Wissahickon High head coach where he lead their program for 3 seasons (2019-2021). Most recently Bruce served as the assistant coach and defensive coordinator for Chestnut Hill College which plays sprint football. Other previous coaching stops include Ursinus College, Prep Charter and assistant roles within the Wissahickon program.
