Warren man sentenced to prison and fined $45,000 for drug trafficking
A Warren man received a consecutive prison sentence totaling 10 years for drug-related charges. Antonio Smith, 42, of Lansdowne Avenue NW, Warren, was fined $45,000 after pleading guilty to four counts trafficking in cocaine, two counts possession of cocaine, one count each of possession of fentanyl related compound and having weapons while under disability.
Vienna Police officers, volunteer firefighter rescue woman from house fire
Officers with the Vienna Police Department, as well as a volunteer firefighters all worked together to rescue a woman from a house fire in Vienna Township Tuesday afternoon. Vienna Interim Police Chief Brian Darby tells 21 News the call came in shortly before 2:30 p.m. in reference to a house fire on the 800 Block of Youngstown-Kingsville Road.
Truck rolls over, blocking Route 5 turnpike ramps in Braceville
A truck accident has shut down parts of the Ohio Turnpike interchange at Route 5 in Trumbull County. A tractor-trailer rolled over at around 9 a.m. Tuesday, blocking the westbound ramps. First Responders say the driver got out of the cab. Newton Falls and Braceville firefighters are on the scene.
