Houston company will employee 150 to build manufactured homes in former LP mill outside Jasper
JASPER, Texas — Up to 150 new jobs could be coming to Jasper County after a manufactured home plant moves into a former plywood mill. The former Louisiana Pacific plywood mill along Texas Highway 63 just east of U.S. Highway 190 is set to become the home of Houston-based Gated Rentals Home Assembly, LLC, according to Eddie Hopkins, executive director of the Jasper Economic Development Corporation.
