Trotting fillies will race Friday at Vernon Downs
VERNON — Vernon Downs will play host to a $108,200 leg of the New York Sire Stakes (NYSS) for 2-year-old trotting fillies on Friday. Chapvious and driver Jason Bartlett lead a field of eight as the 5-2 morning line favorite on Wednesday. The filly by Devious Man-Chaperess is trained by George Ducharme. She has two wins in three starts including NYSS wins at Yonkers and Buffalo.
