Utica Police Arrest a Man for Threatening Juveniles with a Weapon
Utica Police have announced another arrest involving an illegal weapon and a group of juveniles. What started as a fight ended with an individual facing several charges. Police officials announced that officers responded to the scene of a fight that had broken out on the 1200 block of Seymour Avenue on July 23rd, 2024. Dispatchers had made police aware of a man menacing others with a handgun.

UTICA — The Center for Family Life and Recovery (CFLR), will host a community Recovery Field Day on Friday, July 26, beginning at 5 p.m. at Hanna Park, 1 Kennedy Plaza. Katie Rodriguez, recovery coordinator with CFLR said, “This event is designed to bring our community together in a celebration of wellness and unity. We aim to create a safe, welcoming and substance-free environment where families and individuals of all ages can enjoy a day filled with fun and free activities. This event is an opportunity for participants to connect, explore valuable resources from many community agencies and experience the joy of togetherness.”
