TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Two people died and another was injured in a shooting Tuesday morning at a Kissimmee apartment complex.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Rapallo apartment complex, located at the 3000 block of Marta Circle, for a report of shots fired, according to NBC affiliate WESH.

Deputies found two men who were shot. One died at the site of the shooting and the other died at the hospital.

They then found a man in the bushes who was also shot. He was taken into custody and is recovering in the hospital. He was identified as a person of interest in the shooting, Sheriff Marco Lopez said in a news conference.

The men involved in the shooting knew each other and there is no threat to the public, according to the sheriff’s office. Lopez said the shooting was likely drug-related.

As of this report, the sheriff’s office remained at the apartment complex to investigate the shooting.
