OPELOUSDAS, La. (KLFY) — St. Landry Parish Government has announced it is making sandbags available for pickup for parish residents today.

Sandbags will be available today until 4:30 p.m. at the Yambilee Building located at 1939 W. Landry Street in Opelousas.

Heavy rains are in the forecast today , before decreasing late in the afternoon leading to a few isolated showers lingering this evening.
