LAFAYETTE, La. ( KLFY ) — A DoorDash driver allegedly stole a tip jar while picking up an order, according to Lafayette Crime Stoppers.

While picking up a DoorDash order on Aug. 7 at Tropical Smoothie Cafe, located at 458 Heymann Blvd., a delivery driver stole the tip jar off of the countertop, officials said.

The driver took the tip jar while a Tropical Smoothie employee was in the kitchen. The tip jar had about $40 in it, police said.

The suspect has not been identified.
