Woman cited for leaving dog in hot car
Selinsgrove, Pa. — A woman was cited Monday for leaving a dog in a hot vehicle for over an hour. Trp. Joseph Civello of state police at Selinsgrove says Dontay Shalease M. Wiley, 30, of Sunbury, was parking at a shopping center at 980 N. Susquehanna Trail in Monroe Township when someone discovered the dog inside her vehicle shortly before 5:30 p.m. The temperature outside was 90 degrees, and the temperature inside the vehicle was more than 100 degrees that day, according to Civello.
