SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — Click the video above for a preview of the Hawks’ 2024 season, plus hear from Wall safety Garren Wiggins.

Wall begins its 2024 campaign with a chip on its shoulder following last season’s 31-12 loss in the regional final versus Canadian. The Hawks begin the new season ranked ninth in 3A Division II Texas high school football in the wake of a new era.

Craig Slaughter was introduced as the Hawks’ new head coach in February, replacing former head coach Houston Guy who has departed after 17 seasons. This is nothing new for Slaughter; he served as the team’s defensive coordinator each of the past seven seasons.

Wall kicks off the 2024 season on the road Friday versus Mason in a clash of two Concho Valley heavyweights.
