ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A couple of developments in Wildwood, Missouri, have hit a snag for a variety of reasons.

Three projects, which would bring hundreds of new housing units to Wildwood, have hit delays. The delayed projects include a mixed use development at Main St. and Taylor, the Reserve at Wildwood and Ashley Grove.

City Administrator Thomas Lee tells KMOX News the issues are minor but they are out of the city's control.

"We are currently waiting for documentation from the three developers that are working on these projects," said Lee.

Lee called it a perfect storm with a few of these delays, such as changes with partnerships with the developers and one developer selling the company.

Joe Vujnich, Director of Planning and Zoning for Wildwood, adds the city has been handing out extensions to allow more time for these developers to get the documents needed.

"We're granting extensions on a couple of them to keep them alive so that they can have a expeditious route to construction," said Vujnich.

Lee says he expect the projects to get back on track in the near future.

All three projects combined would create over 330 new single and multiple family units.
