Wellness-Focused Series for Young People Kicks Off Tomorrow

The Humboldt County Transition-Age Youth Collaboration (HCTAYC) and Youth Advisory Board’s “July-o-Ween” Wellness Week kicks off Monday, July 22 and runs through Friday, July 26. Young people ages 16 to 26 years old with experience in foster care, juvenile justice, behavioral health and homelessness are invited to join theme-oriented workshops focused on the importance of mental and physical wellness.

This is a press release from the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Humboldt County:. The 9th annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Humboldt County will take place on Saturday, October 19 at the Adorni Center in Eureka. Registration starts at 9 am. The opening ceremony is at 10:30 am. Participants can walk either a one or two-mile course and can learn about Alzheimer’s disease, advocacy opportunities, clinical studies enrollment, and support programs and services from the Alzheimer’s Association.
