Search underway for 70-year-old California man who went missing after taking Jeep on off-road trail
A 70-year-old man has been missing since Friday after taking his Jeep on an off-road trail in California, authorities said. Warren Elliott was last seen on the Rubicon Trail in Placer County Friday afternoon, according to the Placer County Sheriff's Office. Searchers from multiple agencies and organizations are involved in the search, according to the sheriff's office. The search for Elliott continued on Monday, focusing on the Rubicon Springs area, the sheriff's office said.

California Teen Goes Missing After Riding Bike to Visit Family
A California teen is reportedly missing after riding her bike to visit family last week. Black woman dies in California prison from heat over 110 degrees
A 42-year-old Black woman, Adrienne Boulware, has died in the custody of the California Department of Corrections at the Central California Women’s Facility in Chowchilla. On July 4, prison guards exposed Boulware to extreme temperatures outdoors during a heatwave for 15 minutes, leaving her with just a small glass of water in the over 110 F heat. Boulware began to exhibit symptoms of heat exhaustion almost immediately after returning indoors. Two days later, she passed away while receiving medical care.
