    Police identify men who were killed and suspect who was arrested in Knoxville bar shooting

    Two people died in a July 2 shooting outside a Knoxville bar, and another was hurt. One suspect has been arrested and police are searching for the other.

    The men who died are Zachery Herrera, 28 of Knoxville, and John Goosie, 41 of Knoxville.

    At about 2:45 a.m., police were called to The Pint House, 815 Merchant Drive. At the front entrance, one man was shot and killed and another was shot and taken to a hospital, where he died, according to a Knoxville Police Department press release. A woman suffered minor graze wounds.

    A suspect named Kevin Matthews, 40, was arrested at about 10 p.m. July 2 at a gas station on Asheville Highway. Police said in a news release they are still searching for a 36-year-old suspect.

    Anyone with information is asked to call East Tennessee Valley Crime Stoppers at 865-215-7165. Tipsters can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward.
