The Tennessee Vols will soon learn if they're getting a massive recruiting visit at the end of July.

According to On3's Steve Wiltfong, 2025 five-star offensive lineman David Sanders Jr is expected to take some visits at the end of the month before he announces his commitment on August 17.

Georgia, Nebraska, Ohio State, and Tennessee are the four programs still vying for Sanders' commitment, though it's the Buckeyes and the Vols that are viewed as the top two contenders for the elite five-star recruit.

Sanders' mother told Wiltfong that the family is in the process of getting the dates "in order".

“We’re in the process of getting all the dates in order and we’ll talk to David and see where he wants to go for the last final impression,” said Sanders’ mother, Samantha, to On3 . “If he has the opportunity to get to more than one we want to.”

That "last impression" will obviously be massive in this recruiting battle.

Now, it doesn't mean that if Sanders takes his last visit to Nebraska that the Cornhuskers are going to win this battle. And it doesn't mean that if Sanders' final visit is to Tennessee that it's a lock that he'll commit to the Vols. But if you ask Josh Heupel and his staff if their preference is to get that final visit, I have to imagine the answer would be an overwhelming yes.

Tennessee's laid it all on the table when it comes to winning the battle for Sanders. They've nailed every aspect of his recruitment. A final visit in July probably won't majorly shake up Sanders' recruitment, but it could certainly seal the deal for the Volunteers.
