Tennessee Vols Football Recruiting: How to watch 2026 5-star QB Faizon Brandon's commitment announcement

One of the Tennessee Vols' top recruiting targets is set to announce his commitment on Saturday afternoon (August 3).

2026 five-star quarterback Faizon Brandon, 6-foot-4/197 lbs from Greensboro, NC (Grimsley), will choose between Alabama, LSU, NC State, and Tennessee on Saturday at 3:00 PM ET.

Brandon is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 overall player in the 2026 recruiting class.

The expectation is that Brandon will commit to the Vols (though as always when it comes to recruiting, nothing is 100 percent certain).

Tennessee's done a fantastic job of building a close relationship with Brandon over the last year (Brandon was first offered by the Vols on June 11, 2023). And it feels like that relationship will be too much for the other programs in Brandon's top four to overcome.

Brandon took an unofficial visit to Tennessee last weekend -- the only visit he took last week ahead of his commitment announcement -- which is certainly a great sign for the Vols' odds of winning this recruiting battle.
