    Are Arkansas’ Red Lobsters closing?

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Red Lobster has closed close to 100 restaurants since Thursday, May 17 before reporting bankruptcy on Sunday, May 19.

    Arkansas has eight Red Lobster locations, according to the website.

    • Hot Springs
    • Little Rock
    • Pine Bluff
    • Fort Smith
    • Jonesboro
    • North Little Rock
    • Rogers

    All locations are still listed as opened on the Red Lobster website and TAGeX Brands has not shown any of the locations for online auction.

    Red Lobster lost more than $11 million in Q3 2023, according to Restaurant Business . Red Lobster’s seafood distributor blamed it on the low prices of the all-you-can-eat shrimp deal the restaurant had.

    Red Lobster was founded in 1968. It is headquartered in Orlando. Red Lobster said it is the world’s largest seafood restaurant
