FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Hilton hotel is being planned for the northwest corner of Dickson Street and West Avenue in Fayetteville, replacing The Bank of Fayetteville’s Train Branch.

According to a press release, The Hilton Motto & Tempo will be a seven-story, 220 to 230-room hotel located on the former site of the bank, which closed in September 2023 .

The hotel will have a coffee shop, sports bar, rooftop bar and restaurant, the release said.

The release said the 0.7-acre property was purchased for $4.6 million by Dickson Hotel Depot, LLC from Ramble North, LLC.

Ramble North purchased the property in June 2023 for more than $2.4 million, according to Washington County property records.

Down the road from the planned hotel, another hotel is set to be built.

In November, the Fayetteville City Council unanimously voted on the construction of a hotel across from the Walton Arts Center on the south end of the parking lot at the corner of West Dickson Street and West Avenue.

Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce CEO and President Steve Clark said it will also be a seven-story hotel.
