    Oklahoma earthquake felt in Northwest Arkansas

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Residents in Northwest Arkansas reported feeling a 2.86 magnitude earthquake in Quinton, Okla.

    The United States Geological Survey reported a 4.6-mile-deep earthquake at around 10:20 a.m. Thursday.

    The light earthquake has been felt up to 112 miles away according to respondents.

    The areas people have reported feeling the earthquake from are:

    • Fayetteville, Ark
    • Canehill, Ark.
    • Broken Arrow, Okla.
    • Eufaula, Okla.
    • Watts, Okla.
    • Bonham, Texas
