    Small Business Administration opening location in Decatur

    DECATUR, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Disaster Loan Outreach Center will open in Decatur City Hall at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 20, according to a news release.

    “At the center, SBA customer service representatives are available to meet with businesses and residents who were affected by severe storms, straightline winds, tornadoes and flooding that occurred May 24 – 27, to answer their questions, explain SBA’s disaster loan program and close their approved disaster loans on the days and times indicated below,” said Francisco Sánchez Jr. , associate administrator for the Office of Disaster Recovery and Resilience at the Small Business Administration.

    No appointment is necessary.

    Residents needing help can visit the Decatur City Hall’s Community Room Building at 310 Maple Ave., Decatur, AR, 72722. It will be open for three days, Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and close its doors Thursday, Aug. 22.

    Anyone can still go to the NWACC location at the Shewmaker Center for Workforce Technologies NWACC, 1000 SE Eagle Way, Room B103 Bentonville, AR  72712. This location is open Mondays – Saturdays, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.

    The SBA helps small businesses, private nonprofits and can help people needing recovery funds after the destructive storms and tornadoes that went through our coverage area. More information can be found online .
