FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Strong storms rolled through the area over the weekend leaving many without power and bringing down many trees.

I spent the morning driving around Springdale and the west side of Fayetteville and noticed many limbs down, and only a couple of trees down.

Oddly enough one of our very own storm spotters Colby Ward, had damage at the front of his neighborhood. He said he ran into some of the strong winds and small hail pulling into the neighborhood Sunday evening.

“The wind continued and then we started seeing quite a few trees down and limbs down and even some street signs and some of the construction equipment here in the neighborhood,” Ward said.

City of Bella Vista investigating possible ‘cyber incident’

We did learn of one tree that fell on a house in the Bella Vista area. Also, in Bella Vista, our very own Josh Rugger captured some fallen trees on the Highlands Golf Course from Friday’s storms.

As of right now, the City of Bella Vista has said they will do a debris clean-up west of U.S. 71. You can find more information on their Facebook po s t .
