LITTLE ROCK, Ar. (KNWA/KFTA) – While the start of every new football season is exciting, there’s also some sadness surrounding Arkansas’ 2024 season.

Dion Stutts, a member of the Hogs 2024 class, tragically lost his life last year in an ATV accident.

He would have been a freshman with the Hogs this season.

“Coach Pittman and that staff I mean, Coach Pittman was the reason why I got up on he knew Thursdays and Fridays was horrible for me. And he called me on the way to work. And so I just, I owe them everything. And my baby never touched that field, never got a chance to touch the field. He touched the practice field, but never touched the field.”

“And so, you know, I owe them everything. So yes, I most definitely we most if I want to go and if Dion was here, we would have been at every one of them,” Shante Stutts, Dion’s mother, told our Alyssa Orange when she sat down with her over summer.
