North Carolina men sentenced in Oklahoma for possession of more than 40 kilos of meth

SEQUOYAH COUNTY, Okla. (KNWA/KFTA) — Two North Carolina men were recently sentenced for possessing more than 40 kilograms of methamphetamine, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office Eastern District of Oklahoma.

Teon Raynard Robbins, 45, and Antwon Marquise Williams, 33, were sentenced on Friday for federal drug charges.

Robbins was sentenced to more than 24 years in prison and Williams was sentenced to six and a half years for federal drug possession and distribution charges.

Investigators said on March 1, 2023, law enforcement stopped Williams and Robbins on Interstate 40 in Sequoyah County for speeding.

Their vehicle was searched and authorities found more than 40 kilograms of methamphetamine packaged in 100 plastic bags. The bags were inside three duffle bags in the back seat of the vehicle, the release said.

Williams pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine on November 29, 2023. Robbins pleaded guilty to the same charge on December 4, 2023.

Both will remain in U.S. Marshal custody pending transportation to a Bureau of Prisons facility to serve non-paroleable sentences of incarceration.

The charges came from investigations by Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Drug Enforcement Administration.
