    Fayetteville wins bid to host Music Cities Convention in 2025

    FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Hundreds of leaders and professionals in the music industry from around the world will be in Fayetteville next year.

    Fayetteville won the bid to host the Music Cities Convention from September 15 to 18, 2025, according to a news release.

    Experience Fayetteville has been discussing hosting plans with Momentual, the parent organization of Music Cities Events, since 2018.

    The event will focus on how music enhances community identity and economic growth, attracting global music industry professionals to explore Fayetteville’s local music scene.

    “Hosting this convention could benefit local businesses and allow those involved in the Fayetteville music scene to connect with others in the industry,” Molly Rawn, CEO of Experience Fayetteville, said.

    Since its inception in 2015, the Music Cities Convention has been held 12 times across 6 countries on 3 continents, drawing over 4,000 delegates from 60 countries, according to the release.
