Here’s how much the speed limits are dropping in Anaheim

Speed limits across Anaheim are going to be lowered by at least five mph.

Some speed limits near Disneyland will be lowered by 10 mph. There’s also a stretch of Manchester Ave. that’s expected to drop from 40 mph to 25 mph.

The city said the new speed limits are not about making money off speeding tickets, it’s about improving safety.

A study conducted by the city found how on a lot of these streets, people are already driving slower than the posted limit for a variety of reasons.

New signs announcing the change will go up as early as next week.
