Housing market jumps into postive territory

(KOAM) - The National Association of Home Builders-Wells Fargo Housing Market Index climbs three points to 51 in March, marking a shift into positive territory.

Any index below 50 indicates negativity.

Lower borrowing costs could be a contributing factor, with Freddie Mac reporting a 30-year fixed mortgage rate around six and a quarter percent, down from over seven and a quarter percent in late October.
