    Residents in Lawrence County Missouri dealing with the aftermath after Wednesday's tornado

    Monett, MO – Some southwest Missouri residents are dealing with a mess left by the tornado that struck Wednesday afternoon. Fire crews and liberty utilities worked through the night to clear roads and restore power. Residents spent the day cleaning up storm debris. No injuries were reported.

    Caney, KS – The city of Caney, Kansas officially lifted its restrictions on water consumption this week. Last summer, the water shortage in the city was considered at the most critical level on the severity scale. The city is now working to avoid the recurring problem in the future. The goal is to connect a pipeline from Coffeyville to Caney’s water tower.

    Pittsburg, KS – The ascension hospital system yesterday announced it's investigating a possible cyber-attack. Ascension, which owns Via Christi hospital in Pittsburg, says it detected unusual activity on its network systems Wednesday. They say access to some systems has been interrupted. So far, they haven't noticed any patient information being compromised. It's not clear if the Pittsburg facility is affected.
