    #2 UCM knocks Pitt State out of MIAA tournament

    The Mules beat the Gorillas 16-5

    PITTSBURG, Kan. -- #2 Central Missouri beats Pittsburg State 16-5 in Friday's MIAA tournament elimination game.

    The loss ends Pittsburg State's season, barring an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament.

    UCM advances to face Washburn in another elimination game later on Friday night.

    The winner of that game will play MSSU in the championship round on Saturday.
