Home destroyed in blaze, Kansas State Fire Marshal assists investigation

COFFEYVILLE, Kan. (KOAM) — About 3 a.m. Wednesday Engine 3 and Engine 1 were alerted to 411 W 3rd for a structure fire.

The fire was under control in approximately 10 minutes but the damage was done as the home is a total loss.

CFD requested the Kansas State Fire Marshal’s Office to assist investigation.

Dearing Fire assisted as mutual aid and additional CFD firefighters reported to the scene.

The residence was unoccupied.

No injuries were reported. CRMC-EMS responded to assist and snapped photos as firefighters were arriving.
