Joplin launches homeowner rehabilitation program

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) - Joplin has introduced the Joplin Homeowner Rehabilitation Program-2 (JHRP-2) as part of its community revitalization efforts.

In partnership with the Economic Security Corporation of Southwest Area (ESC), the program offers qualifying homeowners up to $25,000 for critical home repairs, including roof and siding replacements, HVAC upgrades, and more.

“This program will help prevent further deterioration of homes and enhance residents' quality of life,” said City Manager Nick Edwards.

The program is available to owner-occupied single-family homes within four Qualified Census Tracts in Joplin. For more information or to apply, contact ESC at 417-781-4437 or visit their office at 1924 West 4th Street.
