1971 Camaro burns on County Road near Coffeyville

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Kan. (KOAM) — About 4 p.m. Friday E-911 were alerted to a car fire near CR 4500 and CR 1400 SW of Coffeyville, Kan.

Dearing Fire Engine 1 and Tanker/Brush 24, Montgomery County Deputies and Coffeyville Regional Medical Center EMS responded.

“ Upon arrival there was active fire coming from under the vehicle. Firefighters were able to extinguish the remaining fire. Unfortunately the flames consumed the 1974 Z71 Camaro. ”
— DEARING FIRE

Around 300 gallons of water was used to extinguish the fire.

There were no injuries.
