100 Women Who Care donate to RAISE for transportation needs

(KOAM) -- The Chapter of 100 Women Who Care Jasper/Newton presents a donation of $4,725 to RAISE.

According to 100 Women Who Care, the donation will help purchase a van, which will provide transportation for medical needs, education opportunities, grocery needs, and job opportunities.

The presentation took place on Tuesday, August 27 at 11:45 a.m. in Joplin.

The chapter says they have given more than $73,000 to local 501(c)3 charities. The next meeting will take place in October.
