SUV drives into Rock Star Nails and Spa

UPDATE: Rock Star Nails & Spa decided later to close for the remainder of Friday. They state they will reopen normal hours on Saturday. Scroll to the bottom of of this article for more information.

JOPLIN, Mo. (KOAM) — About 9:50 a.m. Friday reports of a vehicle into a building in the 1900 block east 32nd.

Joplin Fire and Joplin Police responded as well as EMS units.

No one inside was hurt. The driver was checked out by EMS and did not require transport to a hospital.

The Joplin Building Inspector determined the safety of the structure, giving it all clear for continued occupancy.

A construction crew was ready to work doing temporary repairs before the wrecker left the scene.

After our cameras left the salon announced on their FB page they would be closed for the remainder of the day. They will open regular hours on Saturday. Click below to their FB page for more information.
