PFPD: Woman taken to hospital for injuries after tree falls on camper during storms
PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — A woman was rescued by the Pigeon Forge Police Department and the Pigeon Forge Fire Department after a tree fell onto a camper, according to police. At around 9:38 p.m., PFPD and PFFD responded to Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resorts on reports of a tree falling on a camper. Police said after arriving on the scene, they transported a woman to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for injuries.
