Tickets are on sale now for the 2024 Kohler Food & Wine festival , taking place Oct. 17-20 at Destination Kohler, a luxury resort one hour north of Milwaukee in the village of Kohler.
The festival’s activities include chef-led demonstrations, food and wine tastings, cocktail seminars, exclusive dinners and more.
Headliners for this year’s festival include:
- Scott Conant , chef, restaurateur, cookbook author and longtime judge on Food Network’s cooking competition show “Chopped.”
- Andrew Zimmern , Emmy- and James Beard award-winning TV personality, chef, writer and activist, who first found fame as host of the “Bizarre Foods” television franchise.
- Maneet Chauhan , acclaimed author, James Beard Award winner, and permanent judge on Food Network’s “Chopped.”
- Dominique Crenn, chef/owner of three Michelin-starred restaurant Atelier Crenn in San Francisco.
- Ronnie Woo , cookbook author, television personality and executive chef of The Delicious Cook in Los Angeles.
- Michael Hunter , outdoorsman, forager, hunter, cookbook author and chef and co-owner of Toronto’s Antler Kitchen and Bar.
- Jamika Pessoa , TV personality and chef and caterer to the stars, who will being emceeing the festival.
- Arjav Ezekiel , beverage director and co-owner of Birdie’s restaurant in Austin, Texas.
Local chefs participating include Birch chef/owner Kyle Knall, who is set to host a cooking demonstration on Oct. 18 and will participate in a Midwest chefs’ dinner the same evening. On Oct. 19, chefs from the Bartolotta Restaurants will take over one of the culinary stages with cooking demonstrations. Those chefs include Jesse Kloskey of The Commodore , Matt Baier of Downtown Kitchen , Juan Urbieta of Ristorante Bartolotta and Michael Genre of Harbor House .
Other Wisconsin chefs preparing dishes and meals throughout the festival will be Chris Mangless of Three Three Five in Green Bay, Daniel Fox of Heritage Tavern in Madison, Joe Papach of Harvey House in Madison, Nicolas Blouin of Destination Kohler and Thomas Hauck of The Immigrant Restaurant.
Prices for individual sessions run from $55 for wine tastings to $350 for coursed dinners. Select overnight packages, which include exclusive access to special dinners and events, are also available to purchase.
