Most of the 40 loose hybrid wolves found in Marion County

MARION COUNTY, Ark. – The Marion County Sheriff confirmed that the majority of 40 hybrid wolves that got loose have been found and brought back to their home.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the Sheriff went to Wanda’s Mountain on March 12, where the wolf hybrids live, and talked to the wolves’ owner. He told the sheriff that about 40 of the wolf hybrids had dug out of their enclosure and escaped.

The owner said 34 of the hybrid wolves had returned to Wanda’s Mountain, but six others were still on the loose.

The Sheriff’s Office urges the community to use caution as the other six wolf hybrids are caught and brought back home.
