Strafford whips Cubs, gets 10th victory

STRAFFORD, Mo–High School baseball Monday in Strafford, the 9-2 Indians hosting the 6-2 Monett Cubs.

Top of the first, the Cubs have runners on second and third, Aiden Clapper hits a liner off Indians pitcher Crue Crawford that goes into left field scoring both runs to make it 2-0 Monett.

Home half of the inning, the Indians explode for four runs of their own.

Eli Clark singles to right driving in Cooper Easley and it’s a 2-2 game.

Later in the frame, Gabe Moore with this seeing eye single scores another, it’s 3-2 Strafford.

And the Indians go to win 15-2.
