UPDATE 4/24/24 – The City of Billings has announced that the boil advisory has been lifted after their water samples returned with no contaminants.

    Original Story:

BILLINGS, Mo. — The City of Billings has issued a precautionary Boil Water Advisory as the city undergoes a water outage Monday night as crews repair a water line in the city.

According to the City, in order to fix a broken water line on Pine Street, crews had to shut off the water main.

The City says they will take a water sample Tuesday morning and will lift the boil advisory depending on when they get the lab results back, which is usually around 24 hours. City officials expect water pressure to return sometime this evening.

With the city unable to take phone calls regarding the outage after hours, the City encourages residents to reach out to inform those who do not know about the water outage.
