A social media post made by the Stone County Sheriff’s Office says, “Haven has been found and is safe and healthy! We want to thank Det. Dustin Wells and all of the detectives that never gave up looking for her.”

The Bring Haven Home Facebook says, “The past 48 hours have been a whirlwind of activity which led us to finding Haven safely in a city we are choosing not to disclose.”

“The journey she took to get there was wild and she clearly had a guardian angel with her the entire time. There are so many things that could have happened, but the good Lord has kept her safe.”

The page goes onto thank all of the law enforcement, especially Detective Dustin Wells, in their efforts to Bring Haven Home. The post ends by saying, “For the first time in 64 nights, we can sleep soundly.”

Shelton was first reported missing on June 11, 2024, after she was last seen at her home in Kimberling City. OzarksFirst.com has followed Shelton’s story as her family continued their search throughout the Ozarks and into Springfield.
