Bears football holds final fall scrimmage

SPRINFGFIELD–Two weeks to go before the Missouri State football program kicks off its second season under Head Coach Ryan Beard, the Bears held their final fall scrimmage at Plaster Stadium.

This practice could’ve had more high notes, offensively, but the defense was another force to reckon with – much like the previous scrimmage.

The offense did manage to record a couple field goals and touchdowns, Beard wasn’t thrilled with the production from the offense. However, the defense playing so remarkably well, despite being so prone to give up monster plays to opponents, is refreshing for the former defensive back.
