    911 outages reported across southwest Missouri

    UPDATE 8/19/24 – 911 lines are back up and operational in Branson, Taney County and AT&T customers in Christian County.

    UPDATE 3:00 PM – Christian County Emergency Services says their admin lines are back up but are still experiencing issues with their 911 line due to a LUMEN fiber cut from the Kansas City area.

    Christian County residents can still call 417-582-1030 if they cannot get a hold of 911.

    Stone County Emergency Services says their 911 and dispatch lines are back up.

    The Taney County Sheriff’s Office also says they can now receive some 911 calls as the service provider works on repairs.

    Emergency service providers and law enforcement agencies in Christian, Stone and Taney counties are experiencing 911 outages Sunday, the second time 911 outages have been reported in those areas this week.

    Christian County Emergency Services (CCES) says their 911 and admin lines are experiencing power outages and they are working with their partners to solve the issue.

    CCES has provided a list of non-emergency numbers for emergency services that residents can call in the meantime:

    • Christian County Sheriff’s Office: 417.582.5330
    • Billings Police Department: 417.744.2582
    • Clever Police Department: 417.743.5109
    • Nixa Police Department: 417.725.2510
    • Ozark Police Department: 417.581.6600
    • Sparta Police Department: 417.242.5511
    • Missouri State Highway Patrol: *55
    • Billings Fire Department: 417.744.4228
    • Chadwick Fire Department: 417.634.4931
    • Clever Fire Department: 417.743.2000
    • Highlandville Fire Department: 417.443.2112
    • Nixa Fire Department: 417.725.4025
    • Ozark Fire Department: 417.581.4436
    • Sparta Fire Department: 417.634.3200
    • Cox Health – Ambulance Dispatch: 417.269.8103

    The Branson Police Department (BPD) and the Taney County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) also say their 911 systems are down and that the service provider is working to find the issue. BPD recommends calling their non-emergency number at 417-334-3300 for emergency services. TCSO can be reached by calling 417-546-7250 and pressing option 1 for dispatch.

    Stone County Emergency Services is reporting similar outages to 911 and dispatch phones. They can be reached at 417-559-1107 or 417-559-1104 during the outage.

    All affected agencies will provide an update on their Facebook pages when they receive more information on the outages.
