Dent County deputies searching for man involved in pursuit

DENT COUNTY, Mo. — Dent County deputies are asking local residents to be on the lookout for a man involved in a vehicle pursuit Tuesday night.

According to a Facebook post from the Dent County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO), deputies are in the area of Highway W near County Road 4280 and East Highway 32. They say Garrett Blake Wood, a male in his mid-30s, led them on a vehicle pursuit in the area.

Wood was last seen on foot in the Highway W area. He is described as having brown hair, hazel eyes and is wearing a hot pink t-shirt.

The DCSO recommends residents secure their vehicles and homes and contact them at 729-3241, extension 2 if they see anything suspicious.
