    Two Berryville, Arkansas residents killed in multi-vehicle crash

    CARROLL COUNTY, Ark. — An accident involving three vehicles claimed the lives of two people from Berryville, Arkansas on Thursday, August 22.

    According to a fatal crash summary from the Arkansas State Police, at around 4:55 p.m., a northbound Chevy pickup truck was passing a Toyota pickup truck using the east ditch line on State Highway 21 in Carroll County.

    When the Chevy got back on the highway, it collided with the front of the Toyota. The crash caused the Chevy to spin into the southbound lane, where a semi-truck hit it.

    The two occupants of the Chevy, 36-year-old Matthew Porter and 49-year-old Carrianne Henry of Berryville, died in the crash. The next of kin have been notified.

    No other injuries were reported in the crash.
