Your forecast for this week in one word: hot. Last week we were blessed with an early fall teaser that brought temperatures in the lower 80s. We will be tipping the scales the other way for the final week of August.

High temperatures are expected to be in the lower to mid-90s for the majority of this week. It will be sunny, and dry with a pinch of humidity in the air.

Feels-like temperatures will approach 100-105 degrees daily. Hot, but thankfully we won’t be facing anything too extreme. Relief is set to arrive on Friday.

A cold front will push out of the North providing a much-needed pattern shakeup Thursday night into Friday morning. This will return the chance of rain with sub-severe thunderstorms. With the wet weather, temperatures will crash from the 90s back into the lower 80s. Rain can linger for Saturday, especially for places to the south.
