The AKA Mu Xi Omega Chapter created the Ivy Harvest Community Garden as their 2024 “Enhance Our Environment” initiative. So far, the sorority has fed 24 families as they have volunteered their time growing okra, tomatoes, cucumbers, three types of watermelon, Lima beans, bell peppers, squash, banana peppers, and many more vegetables.

JACKSON, Miss. | FCS Football Central releases its Preseason All-American Team featuring four student-athletes from HBCUs all from the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC). Jackson State punter Matt Noll was named Second Team All-American after he earned Preseason First Team All-Conference honors on Tuesday. He finished the year recording 34 punts for 1,507 yards.
