Marion County, Oregon – A structure fire erupted on the 4700 block of Satter Rd NE around 11 am today, triggering a swift and coordinated response from Marion County Fire District #1, supported by the Salem Fire Department. Employing a transitional fire attack strategy, the fire crews effectively contained and extinguished the blaze, marking a successful outcome amidst the chaotic scene.

Upon arrival, responders encountered a challenging scenario with a heavily involved interior room and contents fire that had spread to the exterior of the structure. This situation posed significant obstacles to the containment and extinguishment efforts, demanding innovative approaches from the firefighting teams.
