    2025 schedule for the A's first year in West Sacramento released

    (FOX40.COM) - The 2025 schedule for the Athletics’ first year in West Sacramento was officially released on Thursday morning.

    The A’s will be playing at Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento for at least the next three years as the team’s owners search for a permanent home. Times for the A’s home games are not yet determined.

    After opening the season in Seattle (March 27-30), the first official MLB game to be played in the Sacramento region will be on March 31. The Chicago Cubs will come to West Sacramento for a three-game series that will end on April 2.

    The A's will host Linden native Aaron Judge and the New York Yankees for a three-game series on Mother's Day weekend on May 9-11.

    Bay Area rival San Francisco Giants and Rocklin native Logan Webb will visit Sutter Health Park for a three-game series set for the Fourth of July weekend.

    The Boston Red Sox will make their way to the Capital City region on Sept. 8-10. Following the Red Sox series, the A’s will host one of the league’s most exciting players in Elly De La Cruz when the Cincinnati Reds visit West Sacramento for three games on Sept. 12-14.

    The A’s will close out the regular season with a six-game homestand.

    The team will host the Houston Astros on Sept. 23-25 and the Kansas City Royals will come to town for the final regular season series on Sept. 26-28.
