Driver killed after cars go over cliff near Cliff House

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — One person is dead after two cars crashed through a wall and onto a cliff near Cliff House on Tuesday, the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed to KRON4.

The crash happened in the area of 914 Point Lobos Ave at 4:39 p.m. The public is advised to avoid the area.

The driver of one car died, while the driver of the other car suffered minor injuries, SFFD said. Neither car was carrying a passenger.

Two sections of the fence are missing after the cars crashed through it. There is no information as to what caused the crash.
